Twins of a Different Kind

Have you ever thought about your twin family? Somewhere out there is that other family with exactly the same names. Come on, some where in this wide world there has to be another couple named Jared and Naomi, and they have a daughter named Sophia. This is a big world. I wonder where they live? What they are like? If they truly exist. Are they African? European? Australian? Or do they live two blocks over? I don't have much hope of ever meeting our twin family. Twin famlies are really good at hiding.

Now, of course, I am talking about something completely different than name twins. Name twins are much easier to find. In fact, when we lived in Richfield several years ago, my dad found his name twin. He only lived 4 blocks away, and they kept getting eachothers mail! Small world? Well in the area of name twins, yes.

Have you ever found your name twin? Or even more impressively, your twin family?

I've never met her, but there's another Jodi Kruse (maiden name) down south who is an all star volleyball player.

I hear rumors about other Vondas. There's another Vonda Rankin that comes up when I google myself...

My maiden name is Kara Knutson and I found my twin by that name a few years ago...amazing athlete (unlike me) but grew up in MN, too. (Like me.) Was especially striking because Kara wasn't a very common name when I was younger. I hear that name a lot now, but only once have I ever met one who is older than me--thus named before me.

John Noser isn't the only John Noser in the world, but I bet Kristi Noser is.
Vonda, I grew up with a Vonda, she was my dentist's daughter.
Oh and Naomi, I think your name twins live across the parking lot from your old house...hehheh
