The screen on our digital camera broke.
Or rather, got stepped on.
Or dropped.
I'm not sure which.
The point is, it looks like a rainbow... on steroids. And this happens to be a very modern camera. Modern cameras have no need for viewfinders, cuz hey, you've got that 3 inch HD screen on the back.
Until...

So sorry! That sucks. I got an Olympus Stylus Tough. It's designed to withstand pretty much anything. They guy at National Camera threw it on the floor, picked it up and took a pic with it. The kids have gotten it wet, painted, etc. It works like dream. HD photos and video. I got mine online at Buydigs.com for super cheap. Good luck!
