Ha...I saw this in an email once and was astounded. Hadn't heard it was only 55 people in 100 though - sounds like everyone here can read it. Like Joshua, it seems faster somehow... Yet, if only the first and last letter were present, I wouldn't be able to read it. So, somehow, those middle letters must matter even though it doesn't seem like we're using them. Maybe the eye takes in the length of the word along with the first and last letters?
